ABOUT

The inaugural #BlackSLPMagic Conference is an in-person conference that addresses the internal and external obstacles faced by minority professionals/students/clients/patients in the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology space. #BlackSLPMagic Conference continues to bridge the gap between social media advocacy and the continuous fight in standing against racism, discrimination, intolerance, health disparities, and under-representation that continue to plague black and brown communities and our profession. This all-day conference will enclose a variety of panel discussions with renowned individuals from the field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Founded by Chelsie Esek, of @EsekHealth, this conference is nothing less than a life-changing experience! Each year, over 300 minority professionals, students, industry leaders, vendors, and partner organizations from all across the world have the opportunity to connect, learn and share knowledge and resources at this inaugural professional development event.

In addition to educational workshops, discussion sessions, and data gathering, our conference agenda will allow participants to network and vibe!

This Event will offer Continuing Education Credits(CEUs), Professional Development Hours(PDHs), Vendor booths, Food, Drinks, Photobooth, Complimentary Gifts, Music, Networking, Vibes, Dance party --a new safe haven for “us” all-inclusive with a ticket purchase Vibe, enjoy, network, learn and feel safe, seen, and supported.
